Our Story

We want to make candles you look forward to lighting. Fragrances you return to, in vessels that feel at home on a bedside table or beside a favorite chair.

The name is personal. Highland comes from the cattle we raise; Hive reflects the beeswax at the heart of the candles we are developing. The herd is part of our daily life, and breeding Highland cattle is part of our long-term plans.

Our Philosophy

We believe the things worth keeping are made with intention. That means choosing materials thoughtfully, testing patiently, and paying as much attention to how a candle burns as to how it looks. We would rather take the time to get it right than release something before it is ready.

The Discovery Collection brings three different Mini candles together in one presentation, with fragrances chosen by you. Individual Minis make it easy to return to a favorite. Matte-black glass, wooden wicks, and restrained labels keep the focus on the candle itself.

Looking Ahead

Our vision for Highland & Hive extends beyond candles. In time, we hope to welcome guests to the land, share the Highland cattle that inspired our name, and create experiences shaped by genuine hospitality. There is more we hope to build, but good work starts with giving every detail its due.
