Choosing Your Discovery Collection

Some fragrance preferences are easy to name. You may always reach for citrus, or recognize a fondness for rose and warm woods. Others become clear only after you have lived with a scent for a while.

The Highland & Hive Discovery Collection gives that choice a little more room: three different 3 oz Mini candles, selected by you and presented together in one box.

Begin with a fragrance you know

Choose one fragrance with notes that already appeal to you. Then decide what you would like the other two candles to offer. You might explore related scents, or choose something quite different from your usual preference.

A set built around woods can reveal how herbs, flowers, and vanilla change that familiar character. A set spanning citrus, herbs, and amber gives you a broader introduction. Both are good ways to begin.

Three ways to compose a set

These are suggested combinations from our fragrance collection. Each includes three distinct fragrances; your final selection remains your own.

A broad introduction

No. 03, No. 02, and No. 01.

Bright lemon and sweet orange, fresh aromatic herbs, then warm amber with vanilla, musk, and wood. This selection gives you three clearly different directions to experience. It is a useful starting point when you are new to the collection and have no particular family in mind.

Variations on woods

No. 04, No. 05, and No. 01.

Woods connect these fragrances, while the surrounding notes distinguish them. No. 04 brings citrus and herbs; No. 05 pairs florals with creamy woods; No. 01 brings the softness of vanilla and musk. Choose this direction if woods are already part of your taste and you would like to explore the differences.

Fruit, flowers, and spice

No. 07, No. 05, and No. 06.

Warm fruit and soft florals sit alongside rose with sandalwood, then citrus and a sweet, spicy herbal heart over patchouli. This selection brings several overlapping notes into focus, particularly if you enjoy both floral and warmer fragrance profiles.

Give each candle its own time

Experience the candles separately so you can give each fragrance your attention. Notice the scent before lighting, then how you perceive it during a burn, following the candle's care instructions throughout.

Using the same room on different occasions can make comparison easier. You do not need a scoring system. Notice which notes appeal to you, whether your impression changes, and which fragrance you look forward to using again.

Availability and your selection

Discovery is available to purchase when at least three distinct Mini fragrances are in stock. All three fragrances in your chosen set must be available; duplicate selections are not included.

If fewer than three Mini fragrances are in stock, Discovery remains unavailable. Current availability and any notification options are shown on the Discovery Collection page.
